It’s Friday, so it’s vlog day. I get up late, but my schedule for the day is already in tatters. My wife is at home this week, so my normal routine has gone out of the window. I committed to going to the Dunelm sale on the outskirts of Norwich today, so I know that I won’t be able to get started on scripting my weekly vlog until we get back home. My wife walks the dog while I do some research on the internet. I continue my reading while my wife drives us to Dunelm, and then we wander around the store in search of bargains. My wife buys some towels, and then we call at a local craft store to buy some wool (my wife is desperate to start knitting a blanket for our youngest granddaughter) before dropping in on her youngest son and wife on our way back to Southrepps.
The daylight is fading fast by the time we get home, so my wife takes the dog for her afternoon walk while I split logs, fill the log basket and light the fire.
I write a script for my video, and film myself while my wife sits on the other sofa pretending not to watch me. I have quite a few retakes, but I’m soon loading the video onto my MacBook and editing it. I manage to finish the edit, get it uploaded to my YouTube channel and publish it before the day is out…
Tremor in my left leg is my worst symptom today, but a little cannabis this evening moderates it.
