Boxing Day, and were decide that we will go to see the grey seals and their pups at Horsey to get us all out of the house for some exercise and fresh air, so we get in the car and drive the 20 miles to Horsey, where we walk along the sand dunes at the top of the beach and take a few snaps of these strange looking creatures. By the time we return to the car (about 45 minutes, I think) I’m feeling completely exhausted and I’m quite keen to get back home to recover.
We have a late Boxing Day lunch of leftover turkey, cheese and pickles, sausage rolls and quiche, followed by Christmas pudding with brandy butter, and then settle down in front of the telly to watch Dunkirk.
My wife and I return to Southrepps (with the dog), and have an early night.
