2017-12-25 – Christmas Day.

Christmas Day – we both have an unsettled night and we are up and about reasonably early.  Breakfast and present opening are top of the agenda, and so we have a breakfast of bacon, sausage and beans amidst a sea of discarded wrapping paper.

My wife and I go back home to Southrepps to drop off our presents and have a bath, and then we drop in on her mum and dad to deliver their gifts.

We return to Hevingham to cook Christmas dinner for everyone (my wife does the cooking) and sit around drinking beer (I do the drinking).

I’m still sounding like a drunkard (even before I started drinking) and have a fair amount of tremor in my left leg.  To be honest, I find the slurred speech more debilitating than the tremor I am experiencing at the moment – I’m reluctant to get into conversation with anyone.  I can see how isolating Parkinson’s Disease can be…
